February 2007: After over 22 years in the martial arts, Mr. Massie is promoted to the rank of Fifth Degree Master Instructor by Grandmaster McCarthy.

Mr. Massie has over 23 years experience training in and teaching martial arts.

Mr. Massie has been training in the martial arts for over two decades, and holds black belt or instructor ranks in several different martial arts systems. Mr. Massie was certified as a master instructor by Grandmaster James McMurray of the World Kido Hae in December of 1999, and recently received his 5th Dan Master Black Belt certification from Grandmaster Lascelles McCarthy II.

Mr. Massie has trained dozens of his students to win medals in regional, state, and national AAU championship competitions. As a personal trainer, Mr. Massie trained Baltimore Ravens Kicker and NFL record-holder Matt Stover in the off-season preceding his breakout 1999 season.

He is also a certified rape and assault prevention instructor, and has given numerous lectures and seminars on the topics of crime prevention and child safety for the local community.

Mr. Massie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Allied Health Science with a minor in Business Administration from St. Edward's University. In 2003, Mr. Massie authored a business manual for the martial arts industry that focused on ethical martial arts school management. He dedicates much of his time to helping other martial arts school owners across the country with advice on ethical martial arts school management.

Mr. Massie resides in Austin, Texas with his wife of eight years, Mrs. Deanna Massie.
